Reduce Risk

Create, modify, debug and execute programs with StruCIM® in an easy-to use, point-and-click environment, without risking damage to costly hardware and equipment. StruCIM® performs reachability studies, identifies collisions, reduces joint wear and tear, decreases cycle time and simulates error in path following, overshooting and damping – even performs training – in a 3D virtual shop, freeing real facilities from downtime. With over 150 kinematically accurate models of commercial robots, as well as common work cell components such as grippers, conveyors and rotary tables, it is possible to easily build and re-build a virtual shop to suit any equipment purchase. When required, StruCIM® will automatically place robots for optimum cycle time and allow generation of collision free paths. StruCIM® can even create custom robots, fixtures and components.

Develop Off-Line – Fabricate On-Line

Once visualised, verified and optimised, complete production lines can be brought to the real world. StruCIM® range of fully verified language post-processors will translate the programs running a virtual shop into the robots’ native languages. With full support for the features unique to particular makes and models, StruCIM® translators quickly and smoothly turn simulations into actual production lines, downloading programs directly into robot controllers. With StruCIM®, developing offline and then fabricating online can dramatically increase shop efficiency.

Fast Cell Layout and Simulation

With a few user input parameters, fully functional generic cell peripheral models can be quickly created or imported from other CAD applications, allowing work cells to be mocked-up very quickly. Wiring and monitoring of the work cell digital I/O is intuitive and easy with the point-and-drag graphical wiring interface.

Accurate Cycle Times

Using accurate virtual models of robots and linear modules, you can determine and optimize cycle and robot settling times as well as check their dynamic motor saturation limits. Accurate cycle times are critically important, especially when used for a production line optimisation and wiring interface.

Optimize Cell Design

Automatically place robots to minimize cycle times based on the robot’s program and corresponding to defined locations. Run reachability analysis for workspace optimization. Identify and highlight collisions and near misses automatically during program execution to aid in finding the optimal robot and peripheral placements.

Create Powerful Visual Presentations

Enhance presentation with easily created, visually rich movies (2D AVI or interactive 3D format) of the cell simulation. Display on Windows or UNIX platforms they are perfect for improving communication and understanding of your process, especially to potential customers.

Feasibility to detailed work cell simulations

For maximum flexibility, is the ability to create fully functional, custom robot mechanisms. With StruCIM®, you will visualize the execution of the entire work cell in a dynamic 3D graphics environment
